Joshua 21

In this sermon on chapter 21, we learn about how God provided cities for the Levites in the midst of each tribe's territory. We learn about how God throughout the history of Israel was faithful concerning His promises in the midst of hardship. God provides the nation of Israel with rest from their enemies after He led them to victory throughout the promised land. This presents a picture of what the eternal rest of each Christian will be like. The rest promised by Jesus as part of the New Covenant. God always keeps his promises!
