Psalms 73

Psalm 73 is a reflective psalm attributed to Asaph. It begins with the writer struggling to understand why wicked people often seem to prosper while the faithful suffer. He admits that he nearly lost faith because of his envy of their apparent success. However, after entering God's presence, he gains a new perspective: the prosperity of the wicked is temporary, while a relationship with God is the true and lasting good. The psalm concludes with renewed trust, declaring that God is the believer's strength and ultimate portion forever.
